Graduate Portrait Traits

In Jan. 2022, in partnership with the Santa Cruz COE, San Lorenzo Valley USD joined 175 other districts in CA as part of a statewide SEL (Social-Emotional Learning) initiative funded by CA Dept. of Health Care Services (DHCS). The 15-person SLVUSD SEL committee decided to unify and align behind a portrait of a SLVUSD graduate.  Educators from each site offered character traits and skills most important for SLVUSD students to develop before graduating high school.

The resources below have been compiled to support each of the identified "Graduate Portrait Traits".
Join us in reviewing and utilizing these incredible resources. More traits will be rolled out in 23-24!
